Synopsis :

In a country called Ao-lai, there is a magic rock in the Hua-guo Mountain. The rock produces a stone monkey which soon has life. The stone monkey finds the Shui-lian Cave and takes a host of monkeys to move into the Cave where they live happily. Soon after he takes the throne and calls himself Handsome Monkey King. Before long he becomes worried that he will die one day. On hearing that the Buddhas, the Immortals and the Gods do not die, the Monkey King sets off in a raft to find them. About eight years later, he reaches the Great Western Ocean.
