Synopsis :

The 16mm film is not a packaged production but contains filming of  Vegetable Farm and Orchid Nursery. There is no audio. Details of the footages are as follows:
1) Black Materials: man examining handful of black materials he picks up (cannot see background as film is very dark);
2) Signboard: Stud Boar Service;
3) Distict Veterinary Station:
a) Signboard: District Veterinary Station, Lim Chu Kang;
b) Two men working on animal;
4) In office - man handing over document and identity card to official, who checks and does some writing;
6) Animal Clinic: signboard;
7) Curry Chicken Canning:
a) Cans rolling down, packed in carton;
b) Cans of AmoyCan curry chicken, green labels, stacked up for display; another stack of blue labels;
c) Outside - unloading wooden boxes of cans from lorry to bumboats; loading boxes on two lorries;
d) Putting chicken meat in cans, another worker weighs, adding a piece;
e) Machine put lid on cans;
f) Cans moving along belt, and gravy added;
g) Outside view - two lorries loaded with wooden boxes of curry chicken;
8) Pigs: black pigs in basket - arranged in rows on ground; man writing on 'note book'; unloading black pigs in basket; released from basket; white pigs in holding area;
9) Hens: held down for jabs;
10) Eggs: In trays; packing in wooden boxes;
11) Fish Farm:
a) Man examing live fish in basin; small fish, still alive, on ground;
b) Man throwing fish feed in to big water 'square', fish making for food;
c) Men bringing in line net with catch inside;
d) Rows of small tanks - man putting 'something' in each;
e) Scooping fish from pail to basin;
f) Men working at 'square blocks' - scooping fish from net into pail, pour into big PVC bag, who then ties up with elastic band, put in carton for LIVE stock, and passes to another man;
g) Three men holding on to line net with a lot of 'big' fish; another three in basin;  
12) Aquarium Section: inside observing hall with big viewing panels; various types of fish;
13) Signboard: Fisheries Control Point, Primary Production Department;
14) Blocks of Ice: blocks being unloaded; in another vehicle - blocks  moving along (cannot see what is actually going on);
15) At Pulau Semukau Community Centre: two officials at table set up in front of name board of Community Centre, one writing, then passes to the other;
16) Stray Animals: two men catching dog, two cats by drain ;
17) Vegetables: planting baby plants in watery soil; vVegetable plots - some with vegetables growing;
18) Constructing Building: two structure being built; framework of horizontal and vertical poles, zinc roof; men working on roof and wall;
19) Orchids:
a) Three kinds of orchid flowers, rows of orchids growing in ground;
b) Three men clearing grass with changkul in space between rows of orchids, planting orchids in spaced;
20) Examining Vegetables: inside building (rather dark): official examining bunches of vegetables; man putting more bunches on table;
21) Packing Orchids: woman (in samfoo) putting orchids in bundles in long box brought, covering each layer with paper.
