  • Synopsis :

    1. Woman washing plastic kitchen wares; child drinking from a plastic cup; throwing cup onto the floor; mother examining the unbroken cup; variety of plastic wares; making of plastic hangers, tubs and bottles; plastic moulding patterns; plastic Chinese patterns; plastic products like cups, plates, bottles, jars, balls and tubs; plastic slippers, bags and pipes; crowd admiring the products on display.

    2. Three stamps to commemorate the first anniversary of the Republic of Singapore (1966); six stamps issued on the formation of the State of Singapore; 10-cent stamp with Queen Elizabeth's portrait; similar 30-cent and 50-cent stamps; 4-cent stamp for 1960 National Day featuring Singapore's flag; 1961, 4-cent stamp with unity theme of four clasped hands; 4-cent stamp in 1962 with a figure pushing a wheel; 4- and 10-cent stamps in 1963 featuring Housing and Development Board flats; 1964, 10-sen (cent) stamp with map of Malaysia on it; first day covers.
