Synopsis :

NLB’ technology team teamed up with colleagues from the Public Library in devising a Mobile Bookdrop system to benefit patrons in TRL. At the moment, the bookdrop is located at the other end of the library, far away from the second entrance of the library. To remedy this problem, a Mobile Bookdrop was developed and put through its paces. Patrons would drop in books into the Mobile Bookdrop as they usually would with a fixed system. Once the bin is full, the Mobile Bookdrop will automatically move and makes its way to the sorting room at the other end of the library, where staff will retrieve the full bin with an empty one.
