National Day Messages

In their annual messages, Singapore's founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, former Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong examine domestic and global developments, review economic performance and outlook, and outline national priorities and government plans as they inspire Singaporeans to move forward with a unified sense of purpose.

We aim to provide a complete set of National Day Messages recorded since 1966 for you and future generations. Despite our best efforts, there are gaps in the list, e.g. there is no known copy of 1966 Prime Minister’s National Day Message in English. We would appreciate it if you could email nas@nlb.gov.sg if you have these recordings or know of someone who has them.
