Side view of Supreme Court at Empress Place, Singapore. Originally built by G D Coleman as a residence in 1827, it underwent several change of occupants as well as alterations and extensions throughout Singapore's history. Some of the prominent occupants include the Supreme Court from 1875 to 1939 and Parliament House from 1965 to 1999. Gazetted as a national monument on 14 February 1992, it was refurbished and opened as The Arts House in 2004.
