Singapore lawyer Lee Kuan Yew, counsel for Singapore Post and Telegraph Uniformed Staff Union, exchanging handshakes with Director of Posts, Singapore W A Cooper at the end of the arbitration proceedings between postal workers and the Government. The arbitrator from Kuala Lumpur, Yong Pung How, had awarded the workers 28 months' back pay.
