Arthur Owen driving a 1980 cc Brabham Climax (number 51) in Race 10 of third Malaysia Grand Prix (also known as Malaysian Grand Prix) held at Upper Thomson Road, Singapore. Owen was the British Hill Climb Champion who decided to try his hand at circuit racing in the Far East. He won the first post-war international circuit race to be held in Japan, before competing in Singapore.
