This map in Latin of Asia, titled as translated 'Asia, New Description', the map extends from Europe to Africa and Asia, shows province names, cities, towns, place names, mountains in pictorial form, rivers, seas, lakes, islands, Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Caspian Sea, Red Sea, Persian Gulf, Indus River, Ganges River, Mekong, Chao Phraya with rivers in Burma (Myanmar) and Bengala (Bangladesh) erroneously depicted as flowing from an inland lake, Alexandria, Pegu, Martaban, Aceh, Malacca, Canton, India, China, Japan, Siam, Cambodia with city/town of the same name, (Sultanate of) Malacca on Peninsula Malaya, Sumatra, part of Java, Borneo, Celebes, Philippines, Ceylon (Sri Lanka), part of New Guinea, Arabia, and others. Cingatora (Singapore town) is depicted on a large island next to the southern end of the Malayan Peninsula with Pietra bianca (Pedra Branca) as a smaller island south of it and Bintam (Bintan) as an even smaller island further south, south of the Equator.
