Ministry of Education (MOE)
The Ministry Of Education (MOE) was formerly known as the Department of Education before it assumed its present name in May 1955. The development of the Ministry of Education can be traced back to the government's involvement in the educational sphere in the early years and the development of the Education Department, the predecessor of MOE.

Today, the MOE directs the formulation and implementation of education policies. It has control of the development and administration of the Government and Government-aided primary schools, secondary schools and junior colleges.
