Scenes include: Bukit Timah Road; British soldiers cleaning outside Ford Factory; Route taken by Japanese soldiers from Malaya to Singapore; British's sea fort at present-day Sentosa; British Headquarters at Fort Canning; Singapore's court, post office, banks; Statue of the founder of Singapore- Sir Stamford Raffles; Places named after Sir Stamford Raffles such as Raffles Quay, Raffles  Library, Raffles bakery, Stamford Road and Raffles Hotel; Residential shophouses; and trading activities at sea ports; Lifestyle, entertainment (Singapore Turf Club), fashion, characteristics and religions of different ethnic races in Singapore; Damages on the streets after the war; City clean-up by locals; Order restored during Japanese Occupation; Life under Japanese Occupation; Reconstruction of roads, communication lines, buildings; Traffic diversions by traffic police; Learning of Japanese language; Shonan railway station; Japanese soldiers marching on the streets; Japanese sailors on the streets; Cenotaph; Memorial at Mount Faber, Keppel Hill (Chikushi Yama); Two Japanese poems (WAKA) on the memorial at Mount Faber.
