    1. Yang di-Pertuan Negara, Yusof bin Ishak, touring Bukit Timah, accompanied by Assemblyman for Bukit Timah, Yaacob bin Mohamed; entertainment by various cultural groups; display of silat and lion dance; visits to main centres of each ward; schools; new community centre in West Coast Road; and Changi Community Centre. 2. Malay artist Mohd Yusof bin Samsudin; home in Jalan Salwi; family cutting and preparing the straws in strips; Yusof working on the main design; and pictures of typical Malay scenes being completed. 3. Street scenes with Bukit Ho Swee fire in the background; aftermath of Bukit Ho Swee fire disaster; four schools in the area being used as temporary shelter; aid to victims; victims search for remains amidst debris; victims washing clothes and taking baths at temporary shelters; victims moving into new homes in various government estates - Kallang, Tiong Bahru and Queenstown.
